We are currently looking for a qualified Document Control Administrator to join our growing team.

Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday, this is not a remote position.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

The Document Control Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining document control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. This role supports cross-functional teams by overseeing document handling, version control, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of company documentation.

GENERAL DUTIES:



  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Manage the storage, retrieval, distribution, and archiving of technical documents, engineering drawings, specifications, and records.
  • Establish and enforce version control and change management processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other departments to facilitate document reviews, approvals, and updates.
  • Distribute documentation to customers as necessary by contractual requirements through the use of email, or digital documentation systems.
  • Support the implementation of a digital document and change control software to eliminate the use of manual/paper documentation tracking methods.
  • Administer document management software and tools, ensuring efficient access and security.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on document control processes and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in document control.
  • Other duties as assigned.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience and Competencies



  • A.S. (or equivalent) Degree desired
  • Five (5) Years Relevant Work Experience desired. New Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of version control, change management, and document traceability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
  • Read/Write Fluently in English
  • Sustained dependable attendance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
  • Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
