Position Overview

The Mobile Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for creating a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service, maintaining a neat and clean area for the patient, and updating the patients on appointment wait times.

What You'll Do:

* Work with your team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow, safety, and clinical operation. Participate in department safety huddles.

* Assist clinical care team members as needed. Maintain and stock supplies, equipment, and sterilize instruments.

* Perform customer service tasks such as greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner, answering phones, etc. Verify patient demographics and third-party payers' information.

* Perform patient intake and registration.

* Monitor clinic schedule and ensure encounters are closed at the end of the day.

* Timely communication with management on any issues or errors when necessary.

* Problem solve obstacles throughout the process. Provides administrative support and ensures efficient office operations.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.

* Minimum 2 years job related experience with scheduling, insurance verification and billing.

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare or community resource setting.

* Experience with EMR and computerized charting, preferably in Epic EMR.

* American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
