Introduction to the Job

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

We are currently recruiting for an internship located at our office in San Diego, California.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Learning - Supports the ongoing work of the learning function in the form of new and current program offerings. This includes coordination of non-technical training and career development programs. Keeps SharePoint up to date on related information. Utilizes training schedules, company processes, learning systems and program resources to respond to inquiries from internal customers. Provides on-site & virtual support for learning programs to ensure classroom needs are scheduled (training venue set up, breakout rooms, facilitator needs, catering and other onsite activities.
  • Talent Management - Supports the communication and education of performance management, career development tools and resources for internal human resources and local people managers.
  • Organizational Development / Enablement - in partnership with team experts, assists in the design, development, implementation of new tools and resources for internal human resources and people manager utilization.
  • Supports special projects as needed

Education and Experience

  • Must be pursuing a degree in a Business, Human Resources, Org Development, Org Leadership, Training & Performance, Learning, Enablement, Management, or equivalent
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, MS Teams.
  • Ability to follow through on project deliverables and adhere to deadlines
  • Training program and basic project management/execution monitoring experience required
  • Strong initiative, presentation and writing skills with the ability to use technology to disseminate information.
  • Ability to have virtual meetings outside of business hours with global counterparts on a regular basis

Skills

  • Learning process knowledge - Include any of the following: design, development, delivery, evaluation of learning.

  • Presentation skills - able to present to small groups on soft skill topics based on existing presentation.

  • Project Coordination - Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, task allocation, and progress tracking to ensure projects are completed on time.

  • Data Collection - Gather, validate, and maintain data, both from internal and external sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability

  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.

  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.

  • Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.

  • Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication.

Other Information

This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $18.00 - $36.00.

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
