HSC Research Aide Amarillo 40452BR Position Description Performs specialized work in conducting original research. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. Major/Essential Functions Maintain cell cultures, freezing, and thawing frozen cells appropriately. Carry out in vitro and in vivo research and data analysis in accordance with stipulated protocols, quality, and safety standards. Maintain accurate laboratory records that record research methods, procedures, and results. Assist in maintaining laboratory safety programs and training personnel in laboratory safety techniques. Contribute to general duties of laboratory operation, including cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the area, supplies, and equipment. Performs all other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree particular field of science or engineering.
