Advantage Resourcing is hiring a new Shipping Clerk in Uxbridge, MA, for our manufacturing client. We have partnered with a leading operator of membership warehouse clubs and are searching for a reliable candidate with related work experience who is eager to join a winning team that will listen to your ideas, value your contributions, and help you reach new heights in your career!

We Have a Variety of Shifts to Choose From to Meet Your Work-life Balance Needs!

Tuesday-Friday: 4 am-2:30 pm | $16 per hour

Tuesday-Friday, 3:00 pm-1:30 am: Material Handlers | $17 per hour

Saturday-Monday: 4 am-4 pm | $17.50 per hour

Saturday-Monday: 4 pm-4 am | $19.00 per hour

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:



  • Enhance customer satisfaction by managing the shipping process (verifying paperwork, recording data, managing documentation).
  • Validate that pick jobs are loaded in the correct order.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate, rectify weight errors, restock inventory, and address damaged loads before closing shipping and invoicing orders.
  • Maintain communication with customers and supervisors, updating load sheets and reporting changes.
  • Prepare shipping paperwork and ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Stay updated on food safety regulations and implement necessary changes.
  • Inform supervisors of damages or inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Shipping Supervisor to monitor productivity and make adjustments.
  • Cross-train for Receiving Clerk tasks to enhance capabilities.

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma/ GED.
  • Warehouse shipping background preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management, multitasking, communication, customer service, math, and computer (email, word-processing, spreadsheets, WMS, and other applications) skills.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including public holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to perform frequent physical activities (sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting) and lift objects weighing 50-100 pounds.
