Role Overview:
In this role, you'll be a key driver of growth, focused on aggressive prospecting and securing new accounts to maximize top-line revenue. With a hunter mentality, you will actively pursue new business and develop influential relationships with potential external customers.
You will take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial customer contact to identifying tailored product solutions and ensuring seamless execution of customer needs. You'll also play a critical role in collaborating with other teams and divisions to unlock additional sales opportunities and expand your impact.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting & Sales - Contact potential customers, persuade them to purchase products/services, and WIN new business
  • Product & Industry Expertise - Specialize in product lines while maintaining general knowledge of other business areas.
  • Client Relationship Management - Act as the main point of contact for clients, collaborate with experts, and build long-term business relationships.
  • Sales & Marketing Strategies - Develop sales plans, execute and deliver compelling presentations, and utilize marketing materials to promote company objectives.
  • Market & Customer Analysis - Understand customer needs, tailor sales approaches, analyze market trends, and evaluate competition to carve out NEW opportunities.
  • Networking & Industry Presence - Represent the company at tradeshows, industry events, and customer meetings to enhance visibility.
  • Operational & Sales Support - Troubleshoot any issues, manage Salesforce CRM data, prepare forecasts, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Sales Performance & Targets - Close deals, meet yearly quotas, and collaborate with internal teams on pricing and terms to accelerate growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of sales experience, including experience in the labeling or the packaging industry with demonstrated success.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experience selling packaging or label product lines within the food & beverage, wine & spirits, and home & personal care markets.
  • Customer-driven and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A Hunters mind-set and the ability to be persistent to close New Business wins
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under time constraints.
  • Experience responding effectively to sensitive inquiries.
  • Experience making effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to management and other internal stakeholders
  • Strong selling, time management, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Travel required: 50% domestically
  • This is a remote role - Preferred candidate location: Eastern or Central Time Zones
