Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester County including emergency, transitional and permanent housing. Our services extend to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV/AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs, and others in need, including a special education preschool program.

About the Role
We're seeking a Preschool Physical Therapist to help preschool-aged children build mobility, strength, and independence. You'll create personalized therapy plans, collaborate with educators and families, and be part of a multidisciplinary team. It's a role where your expertise truly transforms lives.

Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver Impactful Therapy: Provide hands-on physical therapy to improve children's mobility and coordination.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work with educators and families to develop integrated therapy plans.
  • Lead with Purpose: Support students, ensuring high-quality care.
  • Grow & Evolve: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of pediatric therapy.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • New York State Physical Therapy License mandated by the Federation of State Boards in Physical Therapy
  • Experience and/or training in pediatric therapy, especially with preschool-aged children preferred
