Baptist Health Breast Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and high-level cancer detection. Our Breast Center is led by dedicated breast radiologist with highly skilled mammographers, breast care nurses and an entire support staff dedicated to early cancer detection. We offer screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, diagnostic breast ultrasound and a variety of breast biopsies. We pride ourselves on accessibility and provide services throughout the community, including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Under general direction provides clerical support for Breast Imaging Services using general clerical skills of patient greeting, retrieval and filing of patient records.

• Performs imaging library functions duties include: verification of patient demographics, retrieval and filing of patient records, reviewing reports, obtaining necessary signatures, and providing patient/family with required documentation.

• Responsible for creating copies of images for release and importing images from outside facilities.

• Performs other support functions as identified by Management

• Customer service and accuracy of information obtained are extremely important in this role.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Six (6) months experience in one of the following areas preferred:

a) Patient registration

b) Healthcare related clerical work
