Overview
Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a Gateway Audit Lead on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX). As an Audit Lead, you will have the opportunity to support one or more of NASA's human spaceflight programs, including the Gateway Program, the Orion Program, Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Development Program (CLDP), the Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP), the International Space Station (ISS) Program, and more. You will also gain programmatic insight into human spaceflight programs supporting NASA in expanding humanity's presence in exploration to the Moon and beyond.

Responsibilities
The Gateway Audit Lead will:
Utilize expert experience and understanding of the audit process to lead the Gateway Program in responding to Audit requests from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of Inspector General (OIG), and other government organizations while also responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- Liaise with different NASA Projects and NASA Centers across the Country to build and integrate a unified response to complex audit questions as the Gateway Audit focal
- Work with technical entities across the Gateway Program to ensure correctness and build consensus when developing integrated responses to technical comments related to audits
- Utilize project management and integration principles to coordinate with Gateway management and NASA Headquarters to ensure alignment of proposed Audit products with Agency needs
- Coordinate Gateway participation in both standing and one-off audit meetings and track assigned actions.
Issue, track, and drive to closure actions across the Gateway Program that facilitate data and meeting requests related to ongoing audits - Identify and incorporate process improvement initiatives that promote more streamlined and efficient ways of performing tasking
- Coordinate and develop the Gateway Program's response to the annual NASA Statement of Assurance.
Update internal trackers using Microsoft products to keep senior management updated on the status of current audit activities - Perform all other assigned duties
Required Education/ Expereince/Skills: **This position is posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, position requirements and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.**
- BS degree in Math, Science, or Technology from an accredited school and five (5+) years experience
- BS degree in Math, Science, or Technology from an accredited school and ten (10+) years experience
- Applied knowledge of audit life cycle, sound project management & integration principles, and strong working knowledge of government or technical industry audit processes
- Demonstrated ability understanding technical concepts and impacts to cost and schedule
- Demonstrated success working with, communicating with, and presenting to senior management
Experience with innovation or process improvements projects and initiatives - Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, TEAMs)
Preferred Education/ Expereince/Skills:
- Knowledge of Human Space Exploration programs, visiting vehicles, and space station modules
- At least 7 years of experience Master of Science degree in Math, Science, or Technology
- Experience maintaining collaborative tools/environments for a group or team (ex. SharePoint, Atlassian products, or Wiki environments)
- Familiarity with ISO9000

Essential Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
- Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Work may involve sitting for extended periods
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary
- Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task
- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
- Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
- This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed
