Program Coordinator

Location: McLean, Virginia

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the successful execution of federal government contracts. The Program Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting program managers with planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies. This position requires a candidate with experience in government contracting, familiarity with security clearance requirements, and strong administrative and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the coordination and execution of government programs, ensuring timely deliverables and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Maintain detailed program records, documentation, and reports to support program performance and compliance.
  • Track program milestones, schedules, and budgets, providing status updates to program leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to facilitate program objectives.
  • Support proposal development and contract modifications by gathering necessary documentation and tracking submission deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, including security requirements, reporting obligations, and contract terms.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Assist with personnel onboarding and security clearance processing in collaboration with security officers.
  • Manage communication between program stakeholders, including drafting and distributing program-related correspondence.
  • Perform other administrative and operational tasks as required to support program success.


Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Government Contracting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, government contracting, or project management within a federal contracting environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal contract regulations (FAR/DFARS) and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with government reporting systems (e.g., SAM.gov, FPDS, or similar) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
