POSITION SCOPE A Concrete Pump Operator, also known as a concrete pumper, is a skilled laborer who operates and maintains concrete pumps and equipment at construction sites. The operator shall be responsible for the operation of a concrete pump truck from driving to and from the job site, operation of the pump and keeping the equipment clean and in good operating condition. The safety of himself as well as all others is paramount. As such, the operator will be required to continually educate and improve their knowledge of all facets of concrete pumping. The operator is expected to be a quality representative of the Company and must have the ability to relate with customers in a professional, responsible manner. Because this is a highly competitive business, the hours worked will be irregular with many last-minute changes. An operator must be flexible to the needs of the Company and its customers. Individuals must possess a valid Class B CDL for this position. Prior driving experience and attention to detail are a must to ensure pre-trip and post-trip DOT standards are met, concrete pumps are operated safely, and quality service is provided to our clients.
