Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit	The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Oral and Craniofacial Health Sciences is the home of the faculty heavily involved in research and/or teaching in the Foundational and Biomedical Sciences.
Position Summary	The Research Technician position will assist with study subject recruitment, data collection, entry, and management. This position may also be trained to create tables and figures. This position involves contact with patients and other dental and medical professionals. The successful applicant will exhibit attention to detail, professionalism, and a good work ethic. They must be well-organized, reliable, be able to follow detailed instructions and become proficient quickly. Finally, they must be comfortable with independent work and collaborating with other people, in a team and in patient-facing settings.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements	Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience	Ability to observe, monitor, collect, and record data in order to assess accuracy, validity and integrity of data.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience	Prior course work in science or linguistics and experience with prior laboratory work is preferred.
