The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care provides a diverse approach to treatment for patients with craniofacial or oral and maxillofacial conditions, including those with multiple or complex oral health problems. The Orthodontics discipline focuses on the treatment of irregularities of the teeth, jaws, and bite relationship in children and adults.

The Research Technician position will assist staff in the Jacox Lab with study subject's recruitment, data collection, entry and visit organization. This position involves contact with patients, speech therapists, a canine therapist, and with other dental professionals.

Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

The successful applicant will exhibit attention to detail, professionalism, and a good work ethic. They must be well-organized, reliable, be able to follow detailed instructions and become proficient quickly. Finally, they must be comfortable collaborating with other people, in a team and in patient-facing settings.
