Meet the Team:

Here at Cisco Security, we are hiring the best, the sharpest and most motivated professional to join and lead our rock star Sales Development Team.

In this role, you'll be working with a range from newer SDR's to our seasoned SDR's to lead their efforts to build pipeline in new sales territories. You will work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations leaders to strategize on sales strategies, territories, and metrics.

In this highly prized role, excellent phone and email skills and the ability to quickly problem solve critical situations will be critical to your success. We're looking for a professional with strong organizational and follow-up skills who work well in a team environment. Prior lead generation and SDR/BDR managing of a continental or distributed team is vital and a college degree will improve your candidacy for this role. Your Impact:

You are a proven leader! You thrive with leading a group of energetic and hungry individuals in the beginning of their career looking to grow into full time sales reps. You are highly driven, hard charging and passionate about winning. You have a consistent track record of over delivering on team results! Other responsibilities include:

  • Leading a US based SDR team covering the Cisco Security portfolio
  • Hold individual and team meetings on weekly basis to mentor, grow / develop the team and track team's progress on metrics
  • Help build and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Meet with executive leadership over sales strategy's and deliver on sales plays
  • Train SDRs on sales skills to help them achieve their goals of moving into a full-time seller role
  • Train SDR/BDRs on the Security products, targeted personas and the Cisco Security Selling Methodology
  • Achieve quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business
  • Represent the SDR organizations impact in weekly meetings with key collaborators (Marketing, Product Management, Sales)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of selling experience that involves carrying a quota
  • 2+ years proven track record with attaining a sales quota
  • Validated experience interviewing and evaluating top talent as part of a hiring process.
  • 2+ years' experience using SalesForce for positioning, qualifying, and closing deals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA, MBA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrate specific methodology of closing large sales
  • Present knowledge of US and Global market trends
  • Strong leadership skills in a cross-functional teaming environment
  • Experience as a leader and mentor in a fast paced and exciting sales environment
  • Experience leading sales teams within the Security industry
  • Ability to lead a dispersed account team with both direct and indirect reports.
