Essential Job Duties
The department is seeking a part-time data verification specialist to conduct research in order to verify all of the department's stakeholder contact information that will ultimately be used in our customer relationship management system ( CRM system). The role will involve collecting existing customer and participant data from across various programs, noting discrepancies, and researching (via calling, searching online, etc) contact information in order to correct all out-of-date information and to find missing information.

Work Schedule Monday - Thursday/ 8am - 5pm (flexible) 32 hours per week
Other Work/Responsibilities

  • The Data verification specialist will take the lead with correcting, validating and maintaining stakeholder contact data to ensure its accuracy and completeness. The specialist will also research missing information, conduct outreach to find missing data, and communicate with program leads.
  • Collect, organize, and aggregate customer data from multiple sources.
  • Examine data for errors, verify missing information or discrepancies. Meticulously examine data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and correct data errors, missing information and inconsistencies to ensure data quality. This might involve data validation cleansing and standardization processes.
  • Conduct calls and online research to confirm contact information to ensure data completeness.
  • Follow established procedures to enter data into spreadsheets and maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work with other team members to understand project requirements, share insights and ensure data quality.
  • Communicate with exceptional customer service when speaking with stakeholders to gather missing information and data.


Minimum Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 -3 years experience working with large data sets

  • Demonstrated ability working with Excel and Google spreadsheets, Google Drive and Google applications
  • Knowledge and experience working with large datasets, specially in spreadsheets
  • Previous experience in data verification, including online searches, cold calling, and working with staff to determine missing information. (Be able to show or discuss experience with previous data verification projects, to include methods of research)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and investigative

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage time and resources effectively
  • Ability to prioritize, ask questions when appropriate and exercise good judgment
