As a Senior Director of Product Development at Epicor, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of product development efforts focused on modernizing and consolidating our EDI solutions. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee a growing team and play a critical role in integrating multiple technologies and platforms into a unified, scalable solution that meets evolving customer and market demands.
What you will be doing:
- Setting the vision, strategy, and priorities for EDI product development in alignment with business objectives.
- Leading the consolidation and modernization of EDI capabilities across platforms to create a streamlined, future-ready solution.
- Managing and mentoring a growing team of developers and managers, initially with two direct reports and expanding to a broader organizational structure.
- Guiding technical teams through product convergence and integration efforts, ensuring strong execution and delivery.
- Developing departmental goals, budgets, schedules, and performance expectations to support long-term organizational success.
- Establishing best practices, policies, and procedures to support efficient and effective product development.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, quality assurance, and leadership teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Defining architecture and working across teams to meet program and performance objectives.
What you will likely bring:
- Strong experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), eInvoicing, and data interchange systems.
- Proven success in leading complex integration and product convergence initiatives.
- Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
- Experience managing multi-discipline and geographically distributed development teams.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Background in business and technology planning, including ownership of P&L and alignment with operational and growth objectives.
