International project coordination and bilingual Spanish are a huge plus.

Job Description

The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is seeking a talented and experienced team member to fill the role of Representative Offices Program Coordinator, Headquarters Operations for the Regional Hubs initiative. The coordinator will support the implementation of the operational effort to launch regional offices outside the United States where work will take place to improve health systems and patient care and facilitate delivery of educational initiatives and research activities in partnership with the St. Jude Global Alliance community. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate across multiple teams, and an interest in contributing to new processes.

The St. Jude Global Operations Program Coordinator for Regional Hubs will be responsible for:

  • Support the planning and implementation of the operational model for St. Jude Global Regional Hubs.

  • Collaborate with St. Jude and GPM administration to create and document processes for opening and operating the offices, and adjusting processes as needed to optimize workflows

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams internally and with external vendors to achieve defined outcomes aligned with departmental and institutional strategic priorities

  • Track and maintain Regional Hubs project plan, timelines, process documentation, and milestone progress, and conduct to periodic reporting and communications to project stakeholders

  • Manage meetings with project team, stakeholders, and vendors to keep project on track, including facilitation, scheduling and generation of agendas, meeting minutes, and follow up on commitments and deadlines

  • Research and develop content for presentations, communications, and analysis to guide initiative decisions and prioritization and provide updates to project stakeholders

  • Report to the Regional Hubs Program Manager, Headquarters Operations and assist Program Manager and Director of Operations with additional tasks as needed

Minimum Education

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in International Affairs, Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications or related field.

Minimum Experience

  • Three (3)+ yearsof experience in project management and delivery.

  • Experience in driving continuous program improvement projects preferred.

  • Significant experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook Calendar tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Skills and Abilities

  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and independently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to coordinate and build strong working relationships across multiple teams and levels, and with cross-cultural sensitivity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an interest in creating new materials

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate problems and create opportunities

  • Proven ability to be a team-player and to express ideas objectively and effectively, and with good judgement

  • Experience creating professional reports and presentations preferred

  • Fluency in a second language preferred, Spanish a plus

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Program Coordinator, Representatives Offices - Headquarters Operations.
