STV is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in construction contract administration, cost tracking, and project management information systems (PMIS). This internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, contributing to infrastructure, transportation, and construction projects. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office, with preference given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) to support project tracking and reporting.
  • Support the review of contractor and vendor pay applications and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
  • Help track, prepare, and process change orders related to extra work on construction projects.
  • Assist in managing the tracking and distribution of construction contract authorizations and approvals.
  • Support the review and processing of contractor-prepared payment applications and diversity/inclusion reporting.
  • Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with client procedures and project requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including correspondence, meeting minutes, and reports.
  • Help maintain project and contract files, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Perform data entry and analysis related to cost tracking, project schedules, and contract administration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAP, PMIS platforms, or construction management software.
  • Exposure to contract administration, project controls, or construction management through coursework or prior internships.
  • Interest in aviation, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation Range:

$51,384.00 - $68,512.00
