We are seeking a highly motivated engineer / scientist to join the Analytical Development department supporting respiratory drug products in the MannKind pipeline.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support evaluation of engineered particle inhaled dosage forms. Perform tests such as HPLC for content analysis, water content, and aerosol performance.
- Analyze the physical and chemical properties of drug substances and products.
- Assist in testing batches for development and pre-clinical studies
- Design and carry out experiments to support analytical method development.
- Document, compile, review, and present data.
- Comply with safety guidelines and good laboratory practices which include the maintenance of laboratory documentation, written procedures and laboratory notebooks.
- Work with hazardous materials and chemicals in accordance with MannKind safety policies and procedures.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, or equivalent, preferably within 1-2 years of graduation.
- Strong scientific fundamentals.
- Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluency in MS Office software.
- Accuracy in following instructions, generating data, and documenting data and procedures.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Prior experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries
- You possess superior time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with general laboratory procedures is a plus.
- You have an intrinsic motivation to continually improve and optimize processes.
- You take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them without needing constant direction.
- You are open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance and grow professionally.
