Milliman is seeking an experienced Product Management and Operations Specialist to join our Health Research Team (HRT). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and exhibit excellent communication abilities. The person in this role will have direct, daily client contact with numerous Health Research Team members, other Milliman professionals, and outside contacts. This position reports to the Health Research Team's Senior Manager, Operations.

Who We Are

The Health Research Team supports Milliman products and practices in a variety of capacities. These include but are not limited to financial functions, client support, project management, data engineering, and data analytics services. As a shared service team, we pride ourselves in delivering high quality, timely support to Milliman's clients, consultants, and leadership teams.

Job Responsibilities



  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in Milliman Health products and tools, managing conversations with consultants and clients through the full cycle licensing process
  • Craft, refine, and execute strategy, including managing changes in mature products with complex dependencies
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze operational processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement and maintain efficient workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • End to end product licensing and fulfillment including tracking and renewal of licenses
  • Ensuring all licensing agreements and associated documents are properly executed and maintained
  • Help desk support (e.g., triaging inquiries and directly answering questions related to product licensing)
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned


Minimum requirements



  • 5+ years of proven work-related experience in an operations role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable/Flexible: Skilled at adjusting priorities and working under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects with attention to project deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Competencies and Behaviors that Support Success in this Role



  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, operations management, project management, or other related field. Commensurate work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in product licensing and/or access fulfillment processes
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, project management
  • Familiarity with health claim and enrollment data sets
  • Established relationships with US health payers, provider organizations a plus
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics CRM) and/or EFT site management
  • Ability to comfortably lead / facilitate meetings by asking value-add questions and providing meaningful input

Location: This is a remote position.

The expected application deadline for this job is June 26, 2025.

Salary: The salary range is $87,000 - $222,000, depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If overall experience is 5 years the range would be $87,000 - $177,000; for experience 10 years or greater, the range would be $109,000 - $222,000.
