Precise Systems is seeking a Business Development (BD) Capture Specialist to work as part of our BD team, capturing qualified opportunities. Candidates should be proximally located to our Pax River, MD or Reston, VA office locations for in office presence as needed.

Responsibilities:



  • Understand and maintain knowledge of the information technology, including opportunity management tracking.
  • Participate in the analysis of proposal opportunities and participate in GO/NO GO decisions.
  • Manage all phases of the proposal development process in response to formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Manage/track all aspects of proposal preparation, revision, and submission; coordinate inputs from technical, contracts, and finance departments; and coordinate internal reviews with upper management.
  • Demonstrate creativity and excellent writing/editing skills.
  • Synthesize technical data from Subject Matter Experts and develop value propositions to resonate with clientele.
  • Act as project manager for RFP responses by coordinating with multiple departments and practice areas to develop effective/compelling proposals.
  • Participate in developing win themes. Customize technical content to reflect the specific RFP/Client criteria and requirements.
  • Develop written questions and seek clarification from procurement officials throughout the RFP/procurement process and remain current on all amendments and modifications.
  • Demonstrate continuous process improvement, with an emphasis on quality of product development.
  • Act independently and proactively to analyze and solve complex opportunity nuances, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to balance workload with various milestones, demonstrating an innate ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively and independently to accomplish work assignments.


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years equivalent relevant work experience.


Required Experience:



  • 4+ years related work experience
  • Basic understanding or the ability to learn federal government procurement processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at performing in-depth research, analysis, and data summarization
  • Curious and driven to investigate and increase understanding of specific organization, domain, activity, opportunity pursuit, etc.



Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $86,190.40 to $147,390.53 (hourly USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
