About the Company:
Newly acquired entity rolling up to a $200M industry leader in telecommunications infrastructure, this business is positioned for scalable growth. The organization is preparing for a significant financial transformation as they bring their accounting and finance functions in house.

About the Role:
The Controller will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company, transitioning accounting functions from outsourced to in-house, and integrating financial reporting into the new ERP system. This position requires a hands-on leader with construction industry experience who has successfully built and refined accounting structures in a growth environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Transition all outsourced accounting functions in-house, establishing internal processes and controls.
  • Rebuild financial reporting to align with business needs and parent company's corporate standards.
  • Lead the ERP integration, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining financial integrity.
  • Work closely with the CFO of the parent company along with Private Equity firm and leverage shared resources from the parent company.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance on business performance, working with leadership to support growth and expansion.
  • Support potential future office/facility transitions as the business scales.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of accounting experience with prior experience as a Controller in the construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial functions from the ground up in a transitioning or high-growth business.
  • Strong technical skills, including GAAP compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Strong ERP experience, ideally with experience managing financial integration following an acquisition (not required
  • Ability to work onsite 4-5 days per week
