Your Role on Our Team:

We're looking for a Payroll System and Process Specialist to join our Payroll Department within HR. This role reports directly to the Payroll Manager and requires a strong mix of technical expertise and payroll processing experience to succeed.

In this role, you'll be key in troubleshooting complex payroll issues by analyzing system configurations, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. You'll work with different payroll systems, ensure compliance with multistate payroll regulations, and help drive process improvements to make things run more smoothly.

To thrive in this position, hands-on payroll processing experience is essential. It's not just about understanding the software, but truly knowing how payroll works from start to finish. We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between technical systems and payroll processing with confidence and accuracy.

    Background/Expertise:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR Management, Accounting or related field OR 6 years of professional experience (including a combination of payroll processing and payroll system administration) accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience that includes both payroll processing and system administration required.
    • 3 - 5 years of experience with HTML, SQL and/or Crystal reporting as well as experience of ensuring regulatory payroll compliance preferred.
