Overview

E2 is hiring a Technical Architect with utility experience to focus on designing and implementing IT architectures that support utility operations. They will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, developing cloud-enabled solutions, and enhancing operational efficiencies through modern technology platforms. Key Responsibilities



Responsibilities

    Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure architects to define, design, and deliver architecture solutions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex, secure IT infrastructures tailored for utility operations.
  • Provide critical support for project managers during all phases of IT projects, including planning, analysis, design, build, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead market and industry research to identify innovative solutions for challenges in the electric utility sector.
  • Assist in creating use cases and test scenarios that reflect real-world grid management situations.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, and data analytics.

  • Minimum of 8 years in the electric utility industry, focusing on transmission and distribution systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis, grid operations, and control systems.

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, smart grid technologies, and renewable energy integration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with grid interconnection and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database concepts.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

The salary for this position is $150,000.00 - $230,000.00. The starting pay rate will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
