Senior Azure Systems Administrator

As an Azure Systems Administrator, you will manage and optimize our Azure environment, ensuring secure and efficient operations while supporting our IT infrastructure. We are seeking applicants with extensive experience in the Azure Portal, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Windows Operating Systems, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), AKS Cluster management, and Azure Update Manager.

What you will be doing:

• Manage and maintain the Azure Portal, including resource provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage RBAC to ensure secure access to Azure resources, administering Windows OS environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Develop, implement, and manage GPOs to enforce security policies and configurations across the network.
• Manage and maintain AKS Clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring, utilizing Azure Update Manager to ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.

What you will likely bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven experience as an Azure Systems Administrator or similar role, with strong knowledge of the Azure Portal and RBAC.
• Proficiency in Windows OS administration and GPO management, with experience in AKS Cluster management and Azure Update Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-centric, results-oriented, self-starter attitude.
