Software Developer (Expert)

• Develop and enhance software solutions using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with mission partners to define system features and design improvements.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure services for optimized performance and scalability.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment strategies to streamline development workflows.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance and reliability.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered (two additional years with a Bachelor's degree; six years in lieu of a degree).
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python, along with experience using Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Git, Jenkins, Puppet, and Nexus.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience in unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, CloudFormation, Terraform, Lambda, Auto-Scaling, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Experience working with Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Proficiency with data engineering and analytics tools.

• Experience working within an Agile development environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
