  • This position is part-time teaching in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Instruction may include face-to-face and/or online teaching formats, in lectures or labs, held during the day and/or evening.


  • Instruction will be provided in both traditional and non-traditional course formats.
  • Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials and lesson plans, assessing student performance, and electronically submitting Attendance Reports, Early Alerts, Midterm Grades, and Final Grades by the required deadlines, didactic teaching, laboratory instruction, assessment of student learning, and competency testing
  • The applicant must have the ability to accommodate different learning styles and work effectively with students is essential.
  • Participation in faculty meetings is also expected.


  • Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant licensed in the state of Ohio, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related degree. Master's degree or doctorate is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of full-time work experience as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant with contemporary clinical experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted Ohio PT or PTA license is required.


  • Must be knowledgeable about physical therapy, including current trends and the direction of the profession.
  • Must have clinical expertise in data collection, interventions, and documentation.
  • Must have recent experience working with patients with diverse neurological and/or developmental pathologies or conditions.
  • Must be able to communicate with students effectively and have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to think critically and make decisions-competency in using computers and basic software programs.
