Description This is a full-time, benefitted 12 hour Night shift position (6:00pm-6:30am) with 72 hours per 2 week pay period. It includes rotating weekends every other weekend. It is located at Scripps Memorial Encinitas. We are looking for an experienced RCP with NICU experience. The Respiratory Therapist, in collaboration with other caregivers: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates actions for respiratory care Performs all technical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care and other core responsibilities necessary to maintain the flow of patient care and comfort in the unit Responds to critical situations Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties Adheres to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in Quality Control, preventative maintenance, and performance improvement activities. #LI-MR1 Qualifications Required Qualifications: Current California RCP license Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification Excellent interpersonal skills. Enjoys working with the public. Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English. Technically competent in the department skills inventory. Computer literate. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer one or more years acute care experience. Graduate of one or two year AMA School of Respiratory Care preferred.
