About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Client Project Management, the Client Project Manager will:

  • Deliver projects within the constraints of scope, time, and cost to agreed levels of quality, within the organization's project management framework.
  • Define, document, and manage smaller-scale projects with minimal supervision, working with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices.
  • Provide client service through regular, direct contact with clients through a variety of modes, such as email, telephone and live meetings or onsite visits throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bringappropriateinternalindividuals together toaccuratelyscopethe feasibilityofprojects andprovidealternative solutionswhen projects aredeemedto benot feasible.
  • Lead primarily Waterfall-style projects with an Agile build approach, including advocating for stakeholders and conducting project meetings with internal and external contacts.
  • Serve as the primary point ofcontact for clientsduring projects and coordinating internally on behalf of customers (phone, email, and live meetings or potentially in-person onsite visits).
  • Manage and execute implementation plans including managing project scope, directing staff resources (both internal and external), evaluating results, creating documentation of newly created processes and managing overall engagement.
  • Attain the product/process knowledge needed to step intoperformhands-on project work when delegating is not an option,as well todiscuss product specifics with clients when necessary.
  • Recommend optimal system configuration and business processes based on industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the goals and tasks of the Professional Services, including assisting in the development of new offeringsand processes and providing internal project management when needed.

About You

You are a fit for the role of Client Project Manager if you have/are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, (project management certification(s) preferred).
  • 5 years of direct client-facing project management experience, including working directly with senior project leadership required.
  • Experience managing large, complex technology projects preferred.
  • Functional, technical knowledge of and experience working with Oracle and SAP, especially Oracle Fusion required (experience with and knowledge of both highly preferred).
  • Experience with Tax Engine or other related document management systems preferred.
  • Experience with other Tax-related industry products and other Thomson Reuters products or solutions preferred.
  • Experience with process analysis, design, mapping and re-engineering
  • Able to proactively identify and analyze project risks, develop risk management plans, report up and out project risks, project status, and facilitate solutions to both project leadership teams and clients.
  • Successful track record ofseeing projects through the full life cycle that are completed according to outlined scope and timeline.
  • Project Management certification (e.g.PMP Certification or PRINCE2 Certification) desired.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
