Deputy Chief of Public Safety The Curry College Public Safety Department is tasked with providing a safe and secure environment for our community members to live, learn, and work. Our department adopts a hybrid model with fully sworn and certified Campus Police Officers that work in conjunction with non-sworn civilian Public Safety Officers. Together we operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Essential Functions: The Deputy Chief serves as second in command of the Curry College Public Safety Department and is tasked with oversight and management of all sworn personnel within the Department. The Deputy Chief will be expected to perform highly responsible administrative and supervisory work in planning, organizing, and directing the Patrol Division of the Department. The Deputy Chief will promote a safe and secure educational and work environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors by assisting the Chief with managing, overseeing and supervising the Department.

Job Requirements: Essential Characteristics: The Deputy Chief will be tasked with overseeing all sworn personnel and can have a significant impact on their subordinates and peers as well as the Curry Community. The Deputy Chief plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Curry is a safe and secure environment for all so the candidates should have the following characteristics to be successful.
Minimum Qualifications: The Curry College Public Safety Department is seeking candidates with extensive law enforcement experience and significant supervisory and management experience.
