Sanitation Specialist

The primary focus of the Quality Compliance Analyst is to support the activities required to meet quality, food safety and other programs or regulatory compliances for Novolex.

• Support development, training, implementation of all scheduled sanitation events and PM events in the facility.
• Monitor and document the compliance to all BRCGS policies for the departments.
• Use tools such as Mattec to schedule and document all required events.
• Evaluate and document sanitation or PM effectiveness.
• Communicate and work with respective departments to insure compliance to sanitation standards.
• Drive training and development of current sanitation & PM programs to keep a path of continuous improvement.
• Keep all documentation electronic and hard copies neat and orderly for defined document retention periods.
• Complete related reports, audits and tracking needed to meet sanitation requirements.
• Works with continuous improvement teams when necessary

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of GFSI Food Safety Requirements
• Minimum of a year working in a sanitation position.
• Understanding of GFSI Food Packaging requirements as it relates to sanitation.
• Working knowledge of sanitation requirements
• Working knowledge of Mattec or related Sanitation Production Monitoring
• Must have a strong sense of urgency and the commitment to results
• Must be highly results oriented, possess leadership skills, and effectively interact with all levels of the organization as well as vendors
• Must possess exceptional problem solving and decision analysis skills
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team orientation
• Must possess excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be results oriented

• Must possess Intermediate or better PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite products and email programs.
