A Seasonal Concert Security Lead role in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. The Concert Security Lead will be responsible for overseeing all security operations for Chateau Ste. Michelle's Summer Concert Series. The purpose of this role is to assist the Woodinville Operations Manager with directing staff, performing all necessary preparations before shows, and ensuring the safety of guests is top priority.

This is a seasonal, part-time hourly role. Seasonal roles are typically May - October, or as seasonal business needs require. This role requires availability on evenings and weekends to support our Summer Concert Series. The standard working hours on concert days are from 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Concert Security Lead job responsibilities include:



  • Organize and assist with pre-concert preparation, including proper placement of barricades, chair set-up, organizing clean-up materials, establish parking spaces, etc.
  • Assist management with the effective, tactful, and professional enforcement of various winery policies regarding guest use of the facility.
  • Provide support with day-one orientation for new employees and provide trainings or daily check-ins, as necessary.
  • Track employees worked time (clocking in/out) and submit to manager in a timely manner.
  • Attend pre-show security meetings with artist management, production team, and King County Sheriff.
  • Collaborate with Live Nation staff to ensure day-of show requirements are fulfilled.
  • Assist with determining workforce for VIP events, soundchecks, and more, as requested by artist management.
  • Support Live Nation staff with.
  • Be proactive with any disorderly behaviors and address concerns expertly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that concert photographer follows granted timeline and approved positioning during live performances.
  • Confirm that biohazard clean-up kit is stocked and available before arrival of guests.
  • Ensure that necessary areas and items (i.e., wheelchairs, concert field, paved areas) are clear of any biohazard waste.
  • Practice de-escalation techniques, when necessary, with disruptive guests.


Physical Requirements:



  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk for extended periods of time.






    Position Requirements:



    • Must be 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
    • MAST Class 12 Permit required.
    • Customer service experience strongly preferred.
    • Safety and security experience with First Aid/CPR/AED training preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality.
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner.
    • Ability to work independently and productively.
    • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


      Your Compensation:

      $23.50 - $30.54 per hour based upon relevant experience.
