Join our impactful journey at ITA International. ITA is seeking a Program Manager to support our commercial programs. This position is remote in the National Capital Region, with some time in the ITA Vienna Office or visiting the customer site.

Please note this position is contingent upon successful contract award anticipated early 2025.



Responsibilities

ITA International is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to oversee the program management of large commercial contracts. The successful candidate will drive business development initiatives to secure new opportunities and strengthen stakeholder relationships across a range of commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

    Ensure all programs and projects operate within the policies and procedures of the contract.
  • Coordinate with clients and senior management to achieve specified goals, overseeing the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of ongoing external client-facing programs, including costs, schedules, and performance quality.
  • Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Assess the strengths of the program, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the continuous delivery of services.
  • Analyze and assess program/project fiscal performance against budget and operating plan, reporting regularly on performance, and providing recommendations and solutions for improvement. This includes coordinating and monitoring scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs/projects in collaboration with the broader organizational portfolio.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align program support initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and support staff to build organizational capacity and expertise in commercial sectors.
  • Maintain responsibility for and expand growth within the existing contract base, including identifying new contract opportunities, working with the Growth team on new business development, preparing technical writing for proposals, and assisting with proposal reviews. Contribute to contract negotiations and changes as needed.
  • Ensure the team adheres to ITA's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems (QHSEMS) policies.
  • Occasional travel required.


Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates holding senior military or civilian ranks (O-5/GS-14 or higher).
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a STEM field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in managing commercial contracts, acquisitions, or large-scale programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large contracts.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing complex projects in a commercial business environment.
  • Experience with public speaking, research, writing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • PMP Certification or DAWIA PM Level II or higher Certification required.
  • Other technical DAWIA Certifications in related fields are accepted.
  • Strong track record in business development within the commercial sector.
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the National Capital Region.
