Requisition ID req32677 Working Title Training Specialist Position Grade 11 Position Summary The University of New Mexico, Office for Community Health invites applications for a Training Specialist. This position conducts focused educational/training needs assessments within specified targeted adult populations; designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates a range of responsive educational curricula and training programs within the field of healthcare, specifically around the Social Drivers of Health (SDOH). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and diverse communities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse learners, including CHWs, students, and subject matter experts. Organizing and coordinating skills. Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology. See the Position Description for additional information. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Experience with Articulate 360, specifically Storyline. Adaptability in working with multiple stakeholders and responding to evolving training needs. Curriculum development experience Experience using translation software. 3+ years of experience in instructional design, technical course development, curriculum management, or a related field. Experience working with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
