Distribution Center Operations Specialist

OVERVIEW

This new role is being created to help support our Warehouse Leadership Team with Distribution Network and Supply Chain initiatives. Working with and engaging with our Third-Party Partners on a daily basis to ensure KPI's and daily DC activities are in line with our goals and values will be a top priority. This role will not have any direct reports and will work closely with our Logistics and Customers Operations Teams to ensure our commitments to our customers are being met.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assist in and lead, special projects in a Distribution Center environment including new operations and value stream additions to existing operations. Examples include writing and establishing new SOP's, partnering with other business functions on Supply Chain projects and initiatives.
• Creating, tracking, and reporting out (Quarterly Business Reviews) facility Key Performance Indicators. Examples include Safety, Quality and cost.
• Lead liaison between value stream operations including Canada and Cold Storage business units.
• Covers Distribution Center daily activities and partners with our 3PL partners when DC Manager is not available.
• Familiarity with WMS and ERP systems including running and analyzing reports and data.
• Assist in Capital projects, including PO creation and invoice tracking.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of related experience
• Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Applications
• Professional Written and Verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $55600.00 - $76600.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
