Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate Coordinates and support the Department of Dental Medicine and those residency training programs (as assigned). Provide administrative support to the Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Transcribes, types and proofs a variety of materials: grants, correspondences, letters, resident schedules, spreadsheets, reports, surveys, charts, meeting minutes, etc
- All other duties as assigned
- Responds independently to calls and inquiries from staff and external parties.
- Perform assigned duties associated with Department needs
- Coordinates the arrival of dental students who perform summer externships
- Opens, reviews and distributes interoffice and external mail
- Works with Human Resources and Professional Affairs in the processing of attendings and residents
- Prepares and maintains files for incoming residents
- Assists in preparation of documents and the application process for accreditation of dental residency training program
- Updates policy and procedure manual and residents manuals
- Maintains continuing education records and submission to ADA for CE credits
- Creates presentations using Powerpoint, develops speadsheets (Excel)
- Participates in orientation of new residents and clinical staff
- Assumes responsibility for the maintenance of departmental records and files
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a HS Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
B.A. in Education or related field preferred

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $50,219.83 - $58,300.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
