Quality Engineer Technician

Onsite - Murphy, NC

To be considered for a Quality Engineer Technician role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • HS diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all work instructions and training.

  • Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity

  • Two (2) year technical college education in a related fiend or, two (2) years relevant work experience in a quality related field

  • Five (5) years' work experience in a manufacturing environment

As a Quality Engineer Technician, you will:

  • Assist with establishing and implementing adequate gauging, measurement and testing techniques.

  • Practice the use of quality techniques such as gage R&R, capability studies, root cause analysis, and problem solving.

  • Maintain inspection and process data, perform trend analysis, and submit reports as assigned utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Perform First Article and other inspections utilizing blueprint reading skills, including GD&T, with skills in the use of mechanical inspection equipment.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams and handle multiple projects and assignments in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Assist with establishing, maintaining and improving a structured and documented Quality Assurance System.

  • Assist the MRB team with the disposition of non-conforming product.

  • Work on continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma techniques and perform internal audits of quality systems and processes.

  • Execute the responsibilities of a Moog employee according to lawful and ethical standards, as referenced in the Moog employee handbook.

  • Perform other Quality related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary Range Transparency:

Murphy, NC $20.00-$28.50 Hourly

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
