Interacoustics is seeking a dynamic Clinical Education Training Specialist to join our team in the Eden Prairie, MN office. This hybrid position involves up to 40% travel, offering a blend of in-office, remote, and on-the-go responsibilities.

As a Clinical Education Training Specialist, you will be a device application professional with proven training and applications aptitude. Your role will encompass reviewing and providing applications expertise for diagnostic medical devices used in the hearing and electrophysiology industry. You will share responsibilities across applications, training, and analysis, playing a crucial role in determining and implementing skill development within the field sales teams.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, analytical thinker and skilled multi-tasker with expertise in audiology, product analysis, and product training.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Interacoustics management team to ensure a highly efficient execution of the company's strategic plans for the product segment.
  • Provide clinical support to distributors and product end users.
  • Practical training of end users within on-site, national, and regional seminars.
  • Assist distributors' skill development to master demonstrating the instrumentation within product segments.
  • Assist end users in utilizing their equipment optimally to maximize client satisfaction.
  • Present topics at state and national Audiology meetings, sales meetings, and internal Interacoustics courses and events.
  • Monitor current market trends to assist in positioning Interacoustics products.
  • Evaluate competitors' hardware and software
  • Participate in team evaluations of brand hardware and software.
  • Provide audiological support for end users and distributors.
  • Organize travel and training to maximize distributor support.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in audiology applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), and database and remote support software.

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology degree and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
  • Clinical knowledge and experience with a broad range of diagnostic equipment, with focus on Audiometers, Tympanometry, Otoacoustics Emissions, and ABR.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical presentations, training experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain a clear driving record.

Travel:

  • International and domestic travel is required, approximately 80-100 days per year.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
