Customer Service Export Specialist -International Contract Management

The Opportunity:Join Hitachi Energy as an International Customer Service Specialist and become a key player in our global operations. This role offers a dynamic and engaging environment where you will interface directly with international customers and ABB locations worldwide. You will assist our Marketing and Field Sales teams in establishing cost-competitive approaches for negotiating foreign contracts. Your expertise in international trade terms, compliance, and documentation will be invaluable. How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Utilize ABB's tools and processes, including product configuration tools, order entry, and invoicing systems.
  • Track orders and ensure on-time customer delivery.
  • Collaborate with ABB Logistics on export arrangements.
  • Invoice customers for ABB factories in accordance with INCO terms.
  • Manage contracts from order-entry to product delivery and payment receipt.
  • Expedite necessary documentation, such as import/export licenses and letters of credit.
  • Prepare all required shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external parties to ensure seamless customer service.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Logistics; OR Associate's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of INCO terms and international trade compliance.
  • Experience with business-to-business (B2B) customer support, preferably with international clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and maintain a pleasant demeanor.
