Job Description
The Contract Compliance Team is responsible for managing contracts and driving compliance activities for key federal, state, and local government contracts, such as the GSA and FEDLINK supply schedules and State/Local Master Statewide Agreements (MSAs). As a member of the Thomson Reuters (TR) Enabling Functions of the General Counsel's Office, this role will report directly to the Manager of Contracts & Compliance. The Sr. Analyst will provide reporting and data analytics support for strategic Government contracts across multiple TR business segments. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Analyst with strong SAP knowledge to develop and implement data extraction solutions. About the role In this opportunity as Sr. Analyst, you will:
- Perform contract administration & compliance functions such as reporting and industrial funding fee payments, State Master Service Agreement (MSA) fees, and CPARS records.
- Be a key driver for annual updates to large federal contracts (GSA, FEDLINK) pricing schedule.
- Maintain updated Federal product/pricing documents on the Thomson Reuter's Federal ordering website.
- Conduct established sales audits for compliance with government-related contract terms and required reports.
- Manage contract modification activities to add, delete, or modify products/pricing for assigned government contract(s).
- Coordinate with Legal on contract requirements for new opportunities by identifying data reporting exceptions.
- Evaluate Segment promotions for compliance with federal contract requisites.
- Collaborate heavily with key internal business partners (e.g., sales organization, finance, legal counsel, order mgmt.).
- Investigate data error/abnormalities in SAP and work independently and cross-functionally to correct data.
- Prepare detailed documentation of extraction processes and procedures.
- Keep accurate records and files related to each contract.
- Contribute to ongoing development of best practices and streamlining of processes and tools.
- Lead contracts & compliance projects and initiatives, working closely with the Manager and colleagues.
- Lead or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned, including ad hoc reports, or specific needs for the department.
About You You are a fit for the role of Sr. Analyst if your background includes:
- Creating efficient queries and scripts to pull data from various SAP modules.
- Ability to design and implement automated data extraction processes, plus validate data accuracy to quality standards.
- Vast working knowledge of the financial aspects of ERP systems, especially SAP tables and data structures.
- Basic sense of data analysis tools, including Web Intelligence, Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx.
- Familiarity with the following technologies is beneficial: Python, SQL, and Business Objects.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited college.
- Preferably 5+ years relevant business experience working in a reporting, data analysis, or contracts compliance role.
- Vocational IT/Software Certification(s) considered a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
- Understand SAP Order-To-Cash: Order creation, Subscription, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Receiving Payment.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Apps (Office, PPT, Word, Teams), and particularly strong Excel skills.
- Adept at reading and comprehending contracts, purchase orders, and various legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, plus exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain productive working relationships with internal and external business customers.
- Attention to detail, including follow-up and final resolution skills.
- Analytical and problem solving/troubleshooting skills, technical aptitude; ability to learn technologies quickly.
- Knowledge of Thomson Reuters products.
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management Systems.
- History with Government (GSA, FEDLINK, State, Local) contracts, familiarity of FAR/DFARS.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
