Mid-Level Data Analyst Vaco is seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our clients' growing analytics team. This role will involve analyzing data, creating reports, and developing insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, experience with Python and SQL, and a passion for learning and working with data. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret large data sets from various sources. Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Apply statistical methodsto large data sets to identify trends and patterns. Collaborate with team members to build and maintain data lakes and assist in machine learning projects as the team grows. Develop and optimize data models and visualizations for better decision-making. Ensure the accuracy and quality of data, identifying and correcting any discrepancies as needed. Technical Requirements: Strong experience with Python and related libraries, especially for data analysis and machine learning. Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and analysis. Statistical knowledge and experience applying methods such as min, max, mean, median, etc., to large data sets. Familiarity with analytical dashboard tools (experience with Kibana, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus). Comfortable working with data stored in relational databases (experience with DB2, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is beneficial). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning new technologies and data analysis techniques. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning and AI applications in data analysis. Ability to manage and process diverse datasets, including transitioning to cloud-based platforms. Familiarity with working with external data sources. Location Requirements: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ.
