As the Sr. Analyst, Inventory Control you are responsible for maintaining Inventory Control for the Aerosol plant, Component plant, and Specialty plant. This position verifies that inventory movement through the Waxdale plant is accurate as materials move correctly from the release of production orders, back-flushing, to finished goods, and exit from the plant. In this role you are also responsible for maintaining accurate resin material counts monthly, and explain financial losses due to scrap, or other processes as requested.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and maintain accurate Non-Finished Good and Finished Good Inventory in SAP

  • Ensure accurate Finished good inventory during the palletization process

  • Investigate and reconcile Non-Finished Good/Finished Good inventory variances, through standard and non-standard processes including miscellaneous shipping, RDC's, transportation, and non-production POs

  • Complete daily review and TECO (technically complete) of production orders for accuracy of changeover time, machine time, head count and material back-flushing accuracy

  • Complete financial write-offs of obsolete and quality related materials/finished goods

  • Validate production accuracy during end of fiscal year audit, and maintain fiscal integrity of inventory/production during fiscal year transition

  • Report on inventory variances as requested

  • Serve as SAP Expert/resource for production teams

  • Special projects, as defined by Manager

  • Work with Planners and Quality to help minimize obsolescence

  • Create and adjust SAP routes for new and updated products

  • Utilize Tableau to conduct monthly/ad-hoc route reviews and adjust as needed

  • Enter all new finished good codes into Red-Zone

  • Use MDI (manufacturing data integrator) to reconcile production minutes

  • Work with Warehouse/MHG leaders to train personnel on SAP and reduction of variances

  • Create or adjust SAP-defined work centers for scheduling and production demand changes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ yrs of SAP and/or S4HANA experience

  • Bachelor's degree OR military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Problem Solving and Data Analysis - Identify problems and discrepancies and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Manufacturing experience

  • SAP/Compounding experience

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Problem Solving and Data Analysis - Identify problems and discrepancies and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve

  • Experiences in Process Safety Management (PSM)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-Time, 1st shift (with ability to support back-shifts as necessary)

  • Requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection and safety toed work boots

  • Exposure to noise and subject to regular bending, twisting, and reaching

  • Travel expected: up to 5%

  • This role is not eligible for relocation

  • This role is not eligible for remote work
