More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for a Services & Support Manager, ILC (Intelligent Lighting Controls), Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Oversee the applications, field service, project management, and tech support departments.

  • Be a product application and technical resource for ILC staff, agents, and customers. Coordinate and implement product, application, and commissioning training plans for agents with guidance and direction from the Sales team and Inside Sales Manager.

  • Prioritize daily and weekly workload for staff with guidance and direction from the Customer Experience Manager and Director of Sales.

  • Collaborate with leadership and management teams to ensure services and support strategies align with overall company goals and objectives. Team with Inside Sales and Services & Support teams to share knowledge, cross-train, and maximize performance.

  • Develop and implement cohesive strategies and tools to support business objectives and improve processes.

  • Mentor and train team, monitor and analyze performance, and offer opportunities for skill-building and professional development. Instill a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred and 5+ years of experience in the lighting/controls industry is required

  • Experience leading, coaching and developing teams

  • Knowledge of electrical building and energy codes, electrical contracting, electrical engineering, and/or lighting design

  • Able to read and understand technical documentation such as engineering specifications, electrical lighting plans, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawing sets

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and ERP systems highly preferred

  • Can travel up to 20% (North America)

  • Salary:$92,000 - 122,600

  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 10%
