Job Opportunity: Corporate Social Responsibility Program Coordinator

Location: DTLA or West LA (Hybrid: 3 days on-site)

Duration: 3 months

Rate: $30-35/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Coordinator to join a prominent company's Sustainability & Social Responsibility (SSR) team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the company's philanthropic efforts, helping make a positive impact on local communities through charitable giving, social impact initiatives, and environmental sustainability.

In this role, you will primarily support the Capital Cares pillar, but may also contribute to Social Impact and Environmental Stewardship initiatives. You'll be instrumental in managing programs that benefit associates and nonprofit organizations, as well as supporting sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Capital Cares Program Administration:



    • Approve associate matching gift requests and support the Associate Involvement Grant Program.
    • Initiate and manage grant request processes, including reviewing applications and facilitating payments.
    • Provide support for nonprofit onboarding, organize Capital Cares Committee meetings, and assist with volunteering activities.
    • Maintain and update participation data dashboards for Capital Cares programs.



  • Social Impact:



    • Assist with the management and delivery of social impact programs focused on youth, community leaders, small businesses, and financial education.
    • Support social impact grantmaking, including processing grant agreements, reviewing nonprofit applications, and supporting local engagement with the program.



  • Environmental Stewardship:



    • Contribute to annual sustainability reporting and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data collection.
    • Support corporate sustainability compliance efforts and reporting.



  • Other Responsibilities:



    • Prepare materials for SSR leadership meetings and committees.
    • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.




Skills & Qualifications:



  • Strong passion for community engagement, charitable giving, economic inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Previous experience working with nonprofits or involvement in CSR programs is a plus.
