We are seeking a highly skilled, results-driven Recruiter to join our People Strategies team at Hourigan. As a passionate and experienced Recruiter, you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier talent for the Hourigan family of companies. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Hourigan's workforce while making a meaningful impact on the recruitment process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting, sourcing, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and define role specifications.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, career fairs, and recruitment agencies, to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess skills, qualifications, cultural fit, and experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and industry professionals.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to hiring managers to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
- Manage third-party recruiter relationships and communication.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience, maintaining clear communication and timely updates.
- Track recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and optimize for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System to ensure smooth recruitment operations.
- Stay current with industry trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to enhance the recruitment process.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior recruiters, helping to elevate the team's recruiting capabilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, attending and applying safety and health training, and eliminating hazards within your capability and control and the help of safety staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of experience required.
- At least 8 years of progressive recruiting experience with a proven track record of successfully filling a wide range of roles, including technical, operational, and administrative positions.
- Experience recruiting within construction and mission critical industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of labor market trends and the competitive landscape in the construction
- Familiarity with the latest recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to quickly assess talent and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requisitions with precision.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
