Nature and Scope This position reports to the Maintenance and Engineering Department. Must be able to perform repairs and preventive maintenance activities on production equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Maintain, service, troubleshoot: USP water systems, autoclaves, steam boilers, air compressors, HVAC Maintain, service, troubleshoot cleanrooms, and related piping, plumbing, electrical services, ductwork and structural surroundings. Maintains and troubleshoots Production Equipment. Performs and documents all activities as outlined in SOP and cGMP. Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions. Correct/report unsafe behaviors or equipment. Act as liaison to supervision to ensure department goals are met. Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management. Education Requirements and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. High school diploma or GED, required. Vocational or trade school certification preferred. 10 years' experience in all the above responsibilities i.e. (sweat, thread pipe, read elec. schematics, use of DVM, all hand and power tools knowledge of programming and troubleshooting PLC's). Leadership experience, highly preferred. Skilled understanding of leadership role and able to exhibit leadership qualities. Needs to be adaptable and maintain the ability to be flexible in an ever changing and challenging environment. Working knowledge of sterile environment preferred. Must be flexible with working hours dependable and able to work overtime as needed, according to the production schedule. Physical Environment and Requirements Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves. PPE is essential for the health and safety of employees. Expected Hourly Rate: $37.55 - $42.00 The hourly rate displayed is the minimum and maximum hourly rate of compensation for the role that the employer in good faith believes to be accurate at the time of the posting of an advertisement for the role. Actual compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
