Overview Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of duties in support of department operations. Performs as lead processor on credit monitoring and letter of credit processing, maintenance and information reporting. Proactively coordinates transactions with commercial lenders, legal, loan operations and directly with customers to meet required deadlines. Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with internal compliance standards. Support management to maintain the efficient and accurate functioning of department specified lines of credit and letter of credit processing within the department. This is a hybrid role based out of our Corporate headquarters in downtown Lancaster, PA. Responsibilities
Process letters of credit and properly verify related loan documents ensuring that all conform to legal and lending requirements. Input data for letter of credit activity into the appropriate operating system. Prepare monthly reports on letter of credit outstanding items, delinquent accounts receivable and other reports as directed. Advise Fulton Bank and affiliate bank loan officers and branch managers on requirements for letters of credit. Advise and assist internal and external customers with complex issues, and processing of letter of credit transactions. Assist with the more complicated aspects of the billing process and its related management reporting systems. Help track accounts receivable and update delinquency reports. Proactively support record keeping for Fulton Bank and affiliate letters of credit and maintaining the access database and all necessary reports. Follow requirements and compliance with all bank secrecy act programs. Maintain strong knowledge base of industry standards and requirements for letters of credit. Assist less experienced staff as needed.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business or equivalent. (Preferred) Experience5 or more years Letter of Credit, Trade Operations and/or SWIFT messaging. (Required) 0 to 6 months Strong knowledge base of all articles within the UCP and ISP98, which relate to documentary and standby letters of credit as well as Incoterms in international trade. (Preferred) Other Duties as Assigned by Manager This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. The hourly rate for this position is $18.89 - $29.86.
