The Role GovExec is seeking a NetSuite Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will actively provide options to improve and support our growth while balancing the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of our NetSuite instance. You will be the primary internal support contact for NetSuite and all related points of integration. Additionally, you will be the technical admin for all current and future finance and Sales Ops tools (currently Adaptive, Hubspot, Quadient, and DealHub), ensuring they are always coordinated, as integration with NetSuite is essential.
Responsibilities
- NetSuite Application
- Maintain the NetSuite application and other related third-party business applications for internal users
- Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools/applications and new NetSuite modules based on evolving business needs
- NetSuite SME for managing NetSuite updates, troubleshooting of system errors and resolution, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integrations
- Business Team Partnership
- Provide internal NetSuite Cases support (new saved searches, reports, KPI's, and dashboards, user roles, etc.)
- Assist with data analysis, business process mapping, reporting needs, and improvement/simplification initiatives
- Create business and technical documentation - customizations, workflows, and business processes, and keeping all documentation up to date
- Implement new features and integrations as needed
- Provide support and training for users
- Monitor system health and performance
- Configure and customize system workflows and processes
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate NetSuite with other systems
- Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions
- Develop, test, and document software to implement and maintain an operational system
- Coordinate and collaborate with functional users and IT/Finance staff to find solutions to problems identified in testing, ensure that requirements documentation is easily understood, and that proper testing of all systems functionality is completed
- Create & modify user accounts, roles, organize, and audit access
- Customize NetSuite fields, forms, workflows, records, and user roles to enhance business processes
- Assist users with creating and modifying reports
- Assist in the maintenance of 3rd party applications connected to NetSuite via both SuiteBundles/SuiteApps
- Support accounting tasks & implementations
- Continuously analyze and improve business processes through NetSuite solutions
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and implement effective solutions
Requirements
- NetSuite Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with ERP administration, configuration, and 3rd party integrations in complex environments, specifically with NetSuite
- Knowledge of scripting and web services a plus
- Strong technical skills in NetSuite configuration, customization, and integration
- Familiarity with scripting and APIs for NetSuite integration
- Custom records and objects, csv imports, page layouts, workflows, saved searches, reports and dashboards
- Familiarity with Roles and Permissions
- Skills
- Familiarity with Hubspot highly preferred
- Ability to analyze problems, develop and recommend solutions, and resolve issues
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Project management, system implementation, and system integration experience
- Able to troubleshoot & resolve technical issues and provide training and support to users
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business/operations analysis, MIS, Accounting or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, project management skills, and able to think creatively
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, active listening, and respect for colleagues. Capable of working both independently and with a team effectively
- Strongly motivated to learn new skills and tools, determined to find solutions even when faced with unexpected challenges
