POSITION SUMMARY

Constellis is hiring a Project Administrator to be part of a dynamic and growing team located in Herndon, VA. The Project Administrator will support project administration activities as well as assist in tracking the financial position of projects/contract/programs assigned from contract award through contract closeout and ensure the various contracts requirements are met. Interface with members of Finance & Accounting, Operations, Program Management, Contracts, Subcontracts, Pricing and Procurement. This is an entry-level position.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support processing administrative actions related to the high volume of Contract Modifications and the associated Project Setup actions
  • Support Limitation of Funds tracking to ensure internal and external stakeholders are notified when contract funding is required
  • Manage/track subcontractor funding and expenditures. Work as a liaison with the Subcontractor Administration team.
  • Support monthly review of projects and performance against budgets/cost proposals with variance explanations
  • Ensures invoices are billed in accordance with contract requirements and reconciles billings for each contract line item (CLIN) as required
  • Performs monthly financial analysis tracking key performance indicators
  • Supports monthly and/or quarterly Estimates to Complete within assigned portfolio
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested
  • Ability to interpret contracts, identify contract risks, implement risk mitigation procedures
  • Assist external auditors in requests for financial information
  • Work with management on internal reviews
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience in Accounting, Finance or other related field experience preferred
  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint to include project setup a plus
  • Knowledge of government contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials and Cost Reimbursable desired
  • Experience with large contracts that have multiple CLIN and revenue types desired
  • Knowledge of the processes and procedures in financial analysis
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel is essential
  • Ability to interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented dedicated individual with a strong work

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
