Description
We are hiring a Campus Experience and Facility Services Manager to oversee the hospitality services provided for Steelcase employees who work in Steelcase facilities and our guests while being the face of Steelcase to our customers. In this role, you will lead a team and identify employee needs, and then design, implement and deliver those services.
Who You Are:
You have excellent customer service and communication skills with prior experience in facility services within a corporate environment. You are resourceful and able to act on the spot while working effectively with others. You have prior management experience and enjoy leading a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of related experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience leading a team of individuals
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in areas such as corporate food services, space planning, project management, budgeting, and vendor management.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating a positive and welcoming campus environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, computer-aided design, building management systems (BMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Experience in areas such as space planning, occupant engagement, event coordination, technology implementation, and sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams, managing projects, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders is essential.
  • Industry-Specific certifications - CFM, WELL, LEED AP, other
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Occupant Engagement and Communication - Building strong relationships with occupants (employees, guests, visitors) to understand their needs and expectations while supporting the delivery of best-in-class workspace.
  • Gathering feedback from employees to understand their needs and preferences regarding the workplace.
  • Fostering a sense of community and belonging among occupants through events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Space Utilization, Allocation and Movement - Analyzing space usage data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency. Managing space allocation and ensuring that spaces are used effectively.
  • Overseeing office moves and reconfigurations to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
  • Asset Management - Managing the process of asset management from creation through disposition via the ReMarket Program.
  • Workplace Amenities and Food Service - Overseeing the provision of workplace amenities, such as classrooms, hybrid settings, meeting spaces, and common areas, to enhance employee experience and well-being. Managing catering services for employees, corporate events, meetings, and special occasions.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Analysis - Forecasting budget needs based on anticipated expenses, planned projects, and organizational churn.
  • Analyzing costs to identify areas where efficiencies can be gained and waste can be reduced.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
